Who doesnt love a good sports fight? And who doesnt love when the fights get outta control and all hell breaks lose! lol. Well, following the now famous Miami vs. FIU 3rd quarter bench clearing brawl, Sports Illustrated put together a small list of some of sports most memorable brawls. Great Photo's and little blurbs on what went down are included. One key brawl left of the list that i noticed, was the legendary Canada vs. U.S.S.R from the 1987 World Junior Hockey Championships. Allegedly started with Pavel Kostichkin giving a viscious two handed slash to Canada's Theo Fleury. What happened next was a 20 minute bench clearing brawl that led to both teams being disqualified from the tournament that year. While the Soviets were out of medal contention, Canada was playing for the gold medal, and were leading 4-2 at the time of the brawl.
