Rest My Chemistry

I haven't slept for two days
I've bathed in nothing but sweat
And I've made hallways
Scenes for things to regret

My friends they come
And the lines they go by

Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry

I live my life in cocaine
Just a rage and three kinds of yes
And I've made stairways
Such scenes for things that I regret

Oh, those days in the sun
They bring a tear to my eye

Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry

But you're so young
You're so young
You look in my eyes
You're so young, so sweet, so surprised

So the sign says "ok"
Gotta take a ride, just recline, in the far away
Gotta take some time to realize
That my friends they come
And the lines they go by

Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry

But you're so young
You're so young
You look in my eyes
You look so young, so sweet, so surprised
You're like a daisy in my lazy eyes

Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry
Tonight I'm gonna rest my chemistry

New Addition - Part 2

What a great way to start the week!

Mr. Nicon hit me up this morning to talk a little shop. (He runs Celsius Recordings, based out of Holland and part of the Triple Vision Music Group) Seems he was talking to a good friend of mine, the lovely Biene, and she was wondering why most of the TV labels did not have press write ups for their past releases. I guess somewhere in there as well she also mentioned me and my writing (<3), and Nicon himself knows I do words for labels and we had spoke briefly just before my departure from Dnbnation.com. Anyways, long story short, he offered me a position to write the press for a majority of the TV labels!! Citrus, Fokuz and Fokuz Limited, Love and Disturbed (which was recently taken over this year by Triple Vision after the infamous Souru abandoned the label) will now be penned by my hand. (And in case you were wondering, press for Celsius and Syndrome Audio is handled in-house at TVMG)

How could I say no?! These guys are the epitome of class and professionalism, committed to continually delivering the highest quality of product to the masses (in both sounds and art). When the Catacomb boys signed on with them, I knew they were in good hands and I was quite glad to know that their output image would be well taken care of. (in terms of vision and presentation)

I am absolutely elated to be a part of this great music organization. There is a ton of outstanding releases coming up featuring some best raw talents in the game. The Mindscape album, 'Black Lotus', also including two samplers [S1 and S2] is going to be a HUGE, the New Zealand EP, a new Rawtekk single..so much more!

YSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Triple Vision Baby!

WARM013

EHL has just posted the news on an absolute blinding plate forthcoming on Warm Communications.

WARM013 - ANGELZERO / CTRL-S
A. Angelzero - Recess (CTRL-S Remix)
AA. CTRL-S - Smoking Man (Angelzero Remix)

I'm telling you right now, this release is going to take Warm Comms up a notch in respectability and delivery. This 'remix special' plate is going to be so fucking ACE, it's unbelievable.

I've been fortunate enough to hear the CTRL-S Remix of 'Recess' and I'm confident enough to say that this track alone is going to get so much attention from multiple fan bases in dnb, the promo will sell out immediately.

Now, as far as I know, the Angelzero remix of 'Smoking Man' is currently unfinished. But we all know his works easily please every ear in capacity, so there's no denying this track will be a sure fire hit. So watch the forums kids, cause as soon as the heads get ahold of this..it's gonna blow up! Trust.

And hats off to the man in charge, Heath EHL, for his brilliant vision and guidance. Warm Communications comin correct and steppin shit up another level!

Syndrome Audio 006

The Syndrome Audio family announce new details on their forthcoming releases. Next up is a solo 12'' by none other than those crazy Canadian funksters, Catacomb. 'Rise From Ruin' b/w 'Doom Riders' will take the # 6 slot in the Syndrome catalogue. (Audio at the Syndrome Myspace)

Also, exciting news to report, Syndrome Audio will unleash their first ever collaborative album, titled 'Syndrome Down' [SYNDROME 007LP], at the end of summer. Featuring the talents of Axiom, Bulletproof, Dose, Psidream, Subtone and the Cata. A HUGE lineup, including 3 Canadian cuts. Top notch as always!

New Interpol Single

"The men of Interpol have kept us waiting three years for their third album, Our Love to Admire. 'Pioneer to the Falls', the disc's moody (what else?) opener, doesn't rush to make its point, either. Nor does it disappoint. A dark, brittle guitar line similar to pre-Turn on the Bright Lights live rarity 'Cubed' (also known as 'Mascara') joins sparse piano and melancholy strings before Paul Banks' harrowed, Jim Morrison-like voice comes in, again beseeching patience: "The soul can wait." Interpol's rhythm section enters a verse later, then drops to a heartbeat on a bridge that floats in space-- "You fly straight into my heart," Banks croons, distant yet vulnerable-- until at last a trilling guitar solo soars above it all, for an emotional effect similar to the one generated by the solo on Radiohead's 'Creep'. "I felt you so much today," Banks concludes, as rumbling toms and rising orchestration contrast with that stately opening riff, betraying impatience, perhaps, but no hurry." [source]

I love it!

Now this is already shaping up to be a very promising and memorable album, as the first single, 'Heinrich Maneuver' is currently at radio and getting some decent play. [check it on their myspace if you haven't heard it yet] But it's not so much the popular play on airwaves that is encouraging, it's the fact within these two singles, they've evidently written some outstanding and timeless music during that lengthy time off. The album, Our Love To Admire, comes out July 10th. Can't wait!

New Addition

Great news today and I'm happy to report, after a nice chat with Mr. Chook this morning, I will be writing the press releases for Full Force Recordings, starting with that massive EP at 010 and beyond. [For audio from the EP, check the Full Force Myspace.]
I've been a fan of this label since it's inception in 2004, so needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to working with the FF team.

Big up Chook and Radic!
